the trade counter is now call and collect.no payments can be made.only by phoning an order through or paying on their web site.i feel we have lost the personal touch which we had with paul on the trade counter.who was always willing to help with spares and advice. 😥
perhaps the management should reconsider putting paul back on the trade counter. anyone else had any problems since paul was taken off. :angry4:

It costs a fortune staffing and running a local trade counter. Time & motion studies proving how inefficient the whole system is serving only local businesses when the alternative is web site driven and very cost efficient. I wouldn’t mind betting CDSL have put Paul onto a more labour effective work roster, truth be known? 😉

Sadly the days of meeting and picking your parts up from your local trader are gone.

The future is faceless transactions over the internet.
