Connect on-line cheaper than Indesit?

CDSL’s retail on-line site certainly has the edge on Indesit’s. For example: a C00085194 Door Interlock (retail) including P&P is £22.94. Order the same from Indesit and they have to stump up £25.98.

Now, OK, prices do fluctuate I know, right now though on several examples it has to be said that surprisingly CDSL work out the cheaper of the two. CDSL may well be flogging older stock based on earlier price levels whereas Indesit are using the more up-to-date prices. But what intrigues me is that they (CDSL that is) purport to be “trading partners”….hmmmm? I must look up in my Oxford English exactly what the terminology ‘partner’ actually means?

Connect prices are the best laugh available in these dark times.
Where do they think them up. I was looking for a Bosch motor last week, Connect wanted £162, I got it from Qualtex for £87 and it was a genuine Bosch part. :rolls:

I used to use Connect more than the rest but for the last couple of months i been giving more to masterpart and qualtex, and i only use connect if i cannot get from anybody else, i find on major parts connect prices are over the top and it can mean the differance of getting the job or not, i know a guy who only uses connect and was looking for a stat for a cda fridge freezer connect quoted about £70 to buy so he estimated to customer over £100, customer turned him down he later found out another engineer done the job for about £60, i looked up the part on masterpart they were selling it for £13, in the customers eyes she is going to think he was trying to rip her off and his reputation gets tarnished, they dont seem to realise we are all in this together if we suffer they will also.
