❓ Problem with an Indesit WI121UK… Wash cycle runs normally, but water is constantly running through tray number 1 (pre-wash), even when the cycle has finished. I’ve taken the top off the machine and pulled the electrical plug out of the water valve, and this stops the flow. So I guess the problem is in the controller board. Is this a known fault? Would replacing the controller solve the problem?

Triac blown on module will cause this.

Module is p/no C00093157, you need to transfer the eeprom across from your old board.

An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for prices and ordering if you choose to do this yourself.

    Power off, of course.

Thanks for the info. Before buying a new controller I’ll try changing the triac – it’s easy to identify and access on the board and I can obtain exactly the same components from RS for considerably less than a new board, so nothing to loose with trying 😉

    Fixed by a 20p component. Great 😛
