    Hi.

I am looking for a bit of advice. Two days ago my fan assisted oven tripped the electricity and has not worked since. The halogen hob is fine and I used it last night. However, half an hour after using it the electricity tripped again, this time causing my fridge freezer to stop working. I use the joint socket for it. Is this normal? I’m not sure if it would be the socket or the appliances. Bottom line is I now have neither working (great timing!) And just need a bit of advice before I buy new ones and potentially have the same happen

Plug something else into the socket e.g. Hairdryer, Kettle to see if you have power to the socket.

If you have then check the fuse in the freezer plug or try an extension lead to plug the fridge into.

    Bob
