    Hi ,
Just a question been to a oven today where electrician has fitted 1.5mm 13amp cable with plug only when he pushed it back its sat on the cable and melted it causing dead short . The oven is 2.2kw so I know the cable and fuse sizes are ok but I thought the cable had to be heat resistant and to British standards rated. Does anyone know what the right cable is ? Is it H07? 😕

    Thanks mark

1.5mm 3 core heat resistant is good up to 16amps.

Refer to the manufacturer installation instructions.

No installation instruction, the cooker has been in for a couple of years so I think I will go with 1.5mm 3 core H07
    Thanks
