Can anyone recommend a reliable 60cm freestanding cooker with an induction hob? Its for someone with short term memory problems so if the take pan off hob but forget to turn hob off it wont matter so much.

    Hi franz

Not much around as the due to the high retail price. A quick Google search comes up with a Belling, De Dietrich and a Smeg.

I think the Belling would be the most sensible option 😉

    Hi

There isn’t a lot of choice and to be honest the induction hob part of the cooker you could realistically forget about as they are reliable.

    belling FSE60ISTA £680 :rolls:
    De Dietrich DCI900XU £1300 :eeek:
    stoves Sterling 600Ei £1000 😥

Can you get away with fitting a standard induction hob with a built in oven ?cheap oven housing from b&q and a piece of worktop cut to size of space and standard induction hob fitted into it ?.A lot more choice and cheaper..

But there again i’m just a scrooge
