Great 😀
Sorry about the delay/mix up, it happens with some of the imported stuff supplied with kitchens.
Enjoy your hot grub and thanks for the comments 😉

hi
dave
the fan is making a wiiirring noise and taking a while to start up
this is usually a sign the element is going ( as in previous occasions)
can i order another one from you please
not sure which one is correct because of the probs last time but if you add it to the store ill get it from there or can contact you direct if you prefer.
going to replace the whole thing in the new year i think with a “decent” one 8)
thanks in advance
ps seems i can log in and post again now…
possible a norton related issueive removed it from my system now and not had a problem since

I can’t remember which one it was to be honest, it was either this one:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … cts_id=308
or this one:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … cts_id=348
I hope anyway, you can email a picture if it helps.
I actually think on this occasion though that the fan motor is failing given the fault description ??

ill see if i can dig out the old photos tomorrow
i think there is an inherent fault with the fan motor that may cause the elements to burn out this quickly
but replacing the element seems to resolve the issue ???
as im not an expert i cant diagnose the exact problem ubt this resolution seems to resolve it ❓
theres an electrician coming to do some lighting installs in a few months so im also going to get him to check out the wiring to the cooker from the mains and making sure thats sound as well

No, it’s actually 76X3718 for this model, this is £43.59 inc VAT etc.
If you’d like one, an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk please 🙂
Dave.
PS, resizing the pictures would be handy please

cheers
photos resized
is that price including postage ?
is it a exact replacement or a compatible ?January 14, 2007 at 5:37 pm #119610Dave_Conway
ParticipantRe: “cookers” 600206 element 76×3719 required urge
That includes delivery, the new type motor is a straight swap but the mounting is now a circular plate rather then the three “legs” yours has 🙂
Thanks for the resize.

i managed to locate a local supplier who was able to beat your price (sorry ;)) however from the model numer you listed the item is about 1.4cm short on the spindle to reach through from the back to fit the fan onto ithe stated that they changed the design and phoned around and there were no alternatives
while it is possible he is wrong, is there any way of checking the item you can get is the correct length spindle to avoid ordering the wrong one again ??
many thanks 😉
