I have a Cookers Appliances 2 oven cooker model # 05-608407. The overheat fan is wirring away permanently and the only way to shut it off is to power off at the mains. An engineer came round months ago and diagnosed the thermostat needed replacing. I was promised a follow up visit to install but never heard a thing!

Can’t be too difficult for a competant DIYer. Part number 2.12DFS028130 – Diplomat & Other Cooker, Oven Thermostat, looks to the right one. I had a look at the back of the oven and can’t see an obvious fixture point. Can anyone advise fitting procedure?

i don,t reconise the model number tho i don,t have any numbers in front of me but that sound like the range oven if so .
depends if left or right is 1 for each side , depends which oven u turn on remove screws at back at top and all burner screws.
inside there be a wire going to the lamp holder to a mini heat coil forgot its name small white retangle and once u turn oven on the oven the lamp socket power the mini heat coil which sits next to the stat and powers ya fan up , once u turn oven of = turning of lamp the mini heater coil cools down slowly cauing ya oven fan to turn of , the coil sit against the stat u need to replace the small stat can,t miss it, this is semi guessing hope it helps
