Replaced fan oven element for above in March. Ordered from Caremark and supplied by Bernstein group as a 75X3520. EGO no is 20 40118 000 and 2000W. Problem is that fan blades catch on element now. Can anybody confirm that this is the correct element for this model?

This cooker is manufactured by Brandt.

According to their spares and tech info, yes it’s the correct element for that model.

When you say the fan blades catch, are they touching the element all the way round or just in one position as the fan rotates ?

It’s more likely that the fan blades are catching on the oven rear panel that covers the fan and element.

Looking at the fan it is not central within the new element as if the element has gone egg shaped. There is not much clearance and the blades catch on the formers to hold the element in shape. Tried moving the fan motor 1 mm to the left within the bolt holes in the oven which worked for about a week. Have ordered new element but have had to pay for it again(£42.30)and will return old & hopefully will get a refund. I just wanted to see if this element was the correct one.
Oh and Caremark have lost my order.
    Thaks anyway

Hooray finally got my refund this week. Its good when the books dont balance as you find there is too much money in your business account! Writing a letter does still work then.
