“Cookers” – supplied by Bernstein Group PLC

I hope some one can help me here – I bought a Cookers Range Cooker from the Bernstein Group less than a year ago and need a replacement door seal – the cooker is still under gaurantee but now i read from this site that they have entered administration it kind of explains why I can’t get hold of anybody there to deal with the problem. Can anybody tell me how to contact Cookers directly?

I am given to understand that the Bernstien’s have been bought by a new company who say that it will be business as usuall so keep trying the tel. no. they will get themselves sorted soon.

Phil, I don’t know which number you have been trying but this one is being shown on their old website, 0870 750 2435. It is for Caremark, who were the service and spares side of Bernstien’s business.

Other than that, someone may be able to help with the seal if you could post the model number here.

I can confirm it’s business as usual at Bernstein/Caremark, tel. no. given by Dave is still correct, you just have to persivere i’m afraid.

From what i can gather us at” Expert apliance care” are doing the bernstien calls now.Try the office they should point you in thr right direction.0870 90 99 100..

Yes, Expert Appliance Care are indeed handling the service and spare arrangements in the UK for the most part.

Yes you are correct wet wall, Expert do do some Bernstein work, spare parts are a problem though Three to Four weeks to supply parts is not acceptable to most engineers or customers
