    Hi

I have read all your stuff about the

    brand

Cookology but would still like to ask a question.

We have a Cookology CH900BK hood and the light is not very bright. I want to connect up another light to the circuit but I can’t find out what voltage the light is and whether it is AC or DC.

The instruction manual (such as it is) says

the isolated low voltage circuit board control, (12v AC input) makes the lights safer

, but looking up the bulb specs it says the bulb is a DBS-2.5/65-H-120/33 which appears to be a 220-240v AC LED bulb.

I bought some 12v LED strip/ribbon lights and they just went flash for a millisecond and then dead.

Does anyone have any ideas or knowledge that might help me?

    Thank you
    Mike

    lamp specs are

    • ILCOS D code for this lamp is: DBS2.5/65H120/33LED modules rectangle lamp Max wattage: 2.5 W Voltage range: AC 220240V Dimensions:

so its a 240v led module. its also a max wattage of 2.5W

that also means you cant uprate or add lamps to the circuit without damage

Hmmm… that’s a shame, but thank you for taking the time to reply, Dave.

    Cheers
