First action on start should be the drain pump running for about 30 seconds. When it stops, then you should get fill.
If that description sounds correct, it’s more likely that you have a fill problem – trapped/kinked fill hose, water off or valve failure.

Difficult to call – these machines are notoriously fickle, so actually nailing the fault in the first place can be a problem. Water on and hose run is easy enough – valve function involves a resistance check, but access is awkward due to the construction of the rear casing.
If you’re not sure, a repairer will charge for an hours’ work, plus the part if it’s the valve. Discuss the rate when you make the phone call to avoid surprises.

i bought one of these machines as well – less than a year old and playing up big time
runs the first part of the cycle normally
moves onto second part of cycle, drops the dishwasher tablet, then stops dead
when i open it up, the plates etc are wet from the first part of the cycle, but the tablet is virtually dry – seems like no water in second part of cycle
it happens on all settings
sometimes it’ll do this, sometimes it’ll run normally – very hit and miss and getting to be a real pain
any clues what it could be? would it be something simple like a blocked filter ???August 2, 2009 at 8:32 pm #198137weejohn

hello all, I posted a manual here recently and unfortunately the file sharing site has deleted it – can anyone who has a copy of the manual post it somewhere for others to use?

Sadly, your ‘recently’ doesn’t match what I would call recently. 😉
Dec 2007 to be precise. 🙂 It could even have been deleted as it may have been considered copyright material at the time.

it was deleted because i was unable to login to the fileshare site to keep it active – not because of copyright
