    I’m wondering if the cost of spares in England is as bad as here in Ireland.
    I recently got a door interlock for a very common hotpoint…cost €39.

    It transpired that the module was also faulty,this was costing a modest €170.

    At these prices is the washer becoming like the iron and microwave…to the recycling centre?.

    WMA interlock, pattern part is £2.35 + VAT from Connect. Modules are sent to EMW for repair, £34.90 + VAT.

    Thanks to Dave and Phidom.
    Don’t do much in the domestic repair now (bit past it).

    Only for a family member or a friend.

    I’ll take your advice on this.
