Could I possibly have any worse luck?

I had big problems with my hotpoint (wet dog smell no matter how many times I boil washed with every solution known to man to try and get rid of the horrible smell), so my Dad leant me his old Zannussi and that buggered up recently so now I am borrowing a Zannussi ZWF1230W from his place of work.

I don’t think I could possibly have any worse luck with washing machines, my Dad commented that the first Zannussi I had lasted them (my Parents) a good few years (possibly 10) and was only put into storage because my Mum wanted a washer/dryer combination.

I had it for about 2 1/2 years and then it starts tripping out the electricity every time I tried to persuade it to actually spin the clothes (on a D cycle was a normal spin)

It was also getting stuck between the spin cycle and draining…. one night I put a load of washing in before I went to bed and it was still grumbling as if it was trying to drain the water when I got up in the morning 😯 (my poor electric bill!)

So instead of messing about trying to fix it, my Dad has borrowed the newer Zannussi from work so that I can actually get my washing done.

He is however going to look at it (the old one) at home and see if it is something simple that he can repair.

Anyway, I’ve garbled on about nothing really, I just wanted to update you all on my lovely washing machine experience.

I think I was actually destined to be old fashioned and use a mangle :S

well of course u could have had worse luck… the machines could have been indesits!!!
