One of the solar hob element heats, but unable to turn heat down via the energy regulator have changed (no different) I feel it must be the limiter at fault can anyone please confim. cheers john

should turn down when you turn down the regulator, cant see it being the limiter. Maybe regulator or plate incorrect wiring?

Nothing has been altered ie wiring ect, have fitted a energy regulator 40ER101C1P correct part !! (as I say no difference) can anyone please help me with this. John

limiter is only a overheat cutout. sounds like energy reg is wired wrong or maybe lost neutral to reg.

IIRC some of these replacement regulators require an additional linkwire…some of them are supplied with the wire and mod sheet and others aren’t 😕

although the regulators are different I have changed over cables number for number.

looks like the link wire has to be fitted between p1 & s1
all other wires are number for number.
