Model: Creda 1200 excel W120VW
Problem: Not draining after wash

We use this washer in our cellar and have a Grundfos pump to pump the water up into the drains.

Recently the water has not been emptying after a wash. I am wondering if this is a fault in the internal pump of the washing machine but would appreciate any other thoughts.

If I ‘waggle’ the waste water pipe the water drains from the machine and into the external pump box.

I’ve had the machine for nearly 5 years and after having read this website am coming to terms with the fact that this might mean it is dying and that our savings needs to be raided for a new machine.

The drain pump is either blocked or the hose from the tub to the pump is restricted. Either way BOTH need to be removed and checked.

Disconnect the power first don’t forget. :zap:

Thanks, turns out a hair grip was stuck in the pump and preventing it from turning… oops! So it’s working again now, sadly… want to get my hands on an ISE!
