Creda 17112e washer door wont shut properly

Been to a little old lady who is having problems closing this awful plastic door serial number 75190268.Wont click shut. Originally Found wouldnt open. Replaced interlock still the same nothing broken or snapped but door has to be kicked to come on. Is there a modified door/ latchplate/ hinge/latch/handle to counteract this?

Nothing on Partfinder Simon, just a list of every individual part number on the door.

Latch spring disengages at one end = not enough push to work the lock.

Yup, had one on Saturday.
The latch spring off inside the latch support plate on the door. Can happen if the door has been lent on and the latch is out of line with the latch opening.
The door gets slammed against the latch plate pushing the latch back.
Check the retainers in the latch plate AND that the latch plate hasn’t been busted.
