On the Creda 26250, there is an L or T shaped piece of plastic on the side of the freezer onto which the Compartement flaps hinges onto.
It also acts as a ‘clip’ to keep the compartement upright when its shut.
I have just been onto Creda and they want almost £15 for this, which doesnt’ sound right, as a few years back I had to get the same part, but for the left side and I am sure it was MUCH cheaper.
In my case, its just the ‘clip’ which is broken, so the compartement won’t stay up when the door is open. If its going to cost £15, then I am going to live with it, or better still, fabricate something which will do the job.
Would it be possible for someone to give me a price for this item.. Its for the Upper compartement and is the Right Hand side.

It is the correct price from Hotpoint/Creda I was about to reply to your email of the same.
The unit is manufactured by Brandt and I can source them for about £7.50 each which even though is too high IMO it’s cheaper than Creda.
