Creda 37603 tumble dryer wire diagram

I was wondering if someone could help me with this issue. Last week my old Creda Autodry DL (tumble dryer modnr 37603) gave a burning smell. After looking at it, it just was some dust in the heating element. No problem so far, but because I had to open the appliance some of the wires of the clocktimer came loose.

Since I didn’t expect this, I didn’t wrote down the wire locations.
Now I’ve 3 loose wires, and 3 locations, so I’ve 9 options.

These are the wires:

– a white/black wire, goed to a thermostate and becomes a red wire there.
– a blue wire, is a “null” from the main supply.
– a brown/black wire, goes to a capacitor next to the motor.

I’ve the following positions left on the timer: 1, 9, 17
The timer has two more wires which are still on their right positions ( on pos 3 a white/pink wire and on pos 19 a black/red wire)

The timer is a “Eaton”, simple 120 minutes counter.

I hope someone can help me with this. I live in The Netherlands, and there the Creda brand isn’t supported anymore. Calling to Indesit NL and even Indesit/Creda UK didn’t give a clue.
Since my wife needs the tumble dryer, especially in this season, I need to repair it as quickly as possible.

Sadly even if we wanted to help you it would be nigh on impossible.

That machine was for export only so no technical information was released here in the UK for that specific model.

Thanks fo the reaction, now I understand why nobody elswhere couldn’t help me either.

@washman. I understand what you’re saying, but making mistakes after advice is not your but my responsebility I guess?

However, This won’t solve the problem of my dryer, so I thing I’ve to pick my multimeter and figure it out myself.

Thanks anyway, whenever I need (futher) assistance I’ll come back on the forum (within the rules 😉 )

I’ve managed to figure out the wire positions, and the dryer is back on line again.

I did actually try to find an equivalent UK model that used the same timer for you but could only come up with a 3kg model.
