Creda 37642 (Reverse air) Not turning off

Hi folks…
As above, a Creda 37642 reverse air not turning off after a cycle on the timer.
Ive checked the heater, stats, door latch too and all seems ok. I disconnected the timer and reconnected and she stopped first time i tried but alas, on the next couple times she just ran on. .

Im assuming it is the timer but could this also point to a stat problem?
Im sorry if this has been covered before here but i did a search to no avail =)

Almost certainly a timer fault, possibly damaged internal contacts.

Part number is 1700938, around £43 ex vat though.

Thanks a lot for the response! Yea, as soon as she stopped the first time and then wouldn’t again I thought it was pretty much the timer. Just wasnt sure whether it was a common problem for this older model.
