First one of these I have seen, apparently when the top or bottom oven is switched on, all of the controls should be back lit.

Customer also thinks the cooling fan is not coming on after top oven has been in use for some time.
Her user manual actually states that the cooling fan and the display lights are in circuit.

When I called this morning I was unable to extract the cooker due to the plinth at the bottom having been glued in by the kitchen fitters. Thankfully they are still in business so she is taking them to task.

I now have a wiring diagram but jut wondered if anyone had come across this fault and if so may have some pointers. 🙂

Looking at Partfinder (have you received your update yet?…I haven’t) it shows a ‘Lampholder’ so maybe the bulb has gone? Also shows a 65deg stat for the cooling fan, that may have gone AWOL or the fan jammed?

Still waiting for my gold plated Partfinder disc. :rolls:

I have had a quick gander at the manual and Partfinder, it would help if I could get inside the beast with my megger but I am not going to start trying to rip out glued in plinths. 😥

Apparently the facia lights up even when the controls are switched off if the cooling fan kicks in after use. Its supposed to warn the user the appliance is still warm.

Sounds feasible and might explain why that display panel bulb may have gone?
