I replaced a grill element, & a simmerstat for a hot plate on this cooker a while ago, now customer says when she uses grill, main oven also comes on & when she has top oven on it trips electric when she switches it off?
Top oven will run & heat but when she switches it to off position tripswitch goes off. I suspected possible selector switch fault but would like service manual or wiring diagram if anyone has it.Re: Creda 48905 tripping when switched OFF
Sorry cannot help with a service manual but I had a simliar problem with one of these creda ranges about a year ago, that indeed turned out to be the main oven selector. Assuming that it is a direct short and not an Earth insulation issue the selector seems to be the next thing to elminate.
