The front left (smaller) Solarglo ring of this ceramic hob cooker keeps on switching off (and eventually back on) even without any pan on it. This is very annoying as it slows down any cooking on the ring by up to 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}. The right hand (larger) Solarglo ring behaves perfectly. Is the off/on behaviour normal or can does anyone think I can correct it by replacing the ring or regulator (in which case which?).
Any help much appreciated. 🙂

It sounds more like the regulator than the element, as the element is about five times the price of the regulator I know which one I would be trying first. 😉
Access and replacement is not easy on these, be sure to isolate from the mains if you are going to attempt a repair.
