Creda Carefree Radiant 49701 – Simmerstat control

Hi,

This cooker belongs to an old man, he reported that one of the elements is not heating up. I went out to check it and found that all the elements were in full working order but one of the control seems to have been able to heat it up then cuts out.

I’m led to assume that the simmerstat is the culprit as I can’t find anything else wrong with it. The simmerstat is for the front left element and I have taken a photo of it. See below.

I looked up the parts list and was unsure which one to use.

Also the owner says that the dual control for the rear right element (single and twin) doesn’t quite return to off position well (lack of spring return) – this requires a new simmerstat but again what shall I get for that one?

Single regulator, 6224264.
Dual regulator, 6107714

Hi James,

The dual control part number you gave was not recognised. Did you mean this… HPTC00225573?

Yes, same part, just Indesit numbers instead of GDA ones.
