In replacing the simmerstat that controls the front left hot plate I inadvertently got the L & N cables round the wrong way!
Result was that the main oven switch/ thermostat did not function-did not illuminate front panel fluorescent light, fan or element. Everything else worked OK.
Discovered my error, but when I corrected wiring. the oven was still inoperable.
Has anyone a wiring diagram for the cooker or can tell me what may be wrong and how I may be able to test for it.
Am I right in suspecting fault may be with the oven switch or PCB at rear of oven and if so how can I check these out?

    Hi

Forum rules no 8/ Please do not ask for wiring diagrams, schematics or for us to sort out any wiring problems over the internet. We cannot judge how competent you are nor the future readers of any thread, we’ll try to point you in the right direction but that’s as far as we can legally go.
