This cooker had a broken plastic linkage on the grill door hinge. I looked up the part on the Connect site and found it was listed as a pair of hinges, 6200887. When this arrived I found it was a pack containing 2 individually packed hinges, 6100707. Connect list this item as no stock, I suppose they don’t like to encourage customers to just buy the one. The new hinge is different to the old one and does not have the plastic link. It also did not fit properly, one of the links is a U section steel pressing instead of a solid bar and is too wide for the slot in the grill door inner panel. I had to file this slot wider, thus damaging the enamel. As the 2 hinges now operate slightly differently the action of the door is not too smooth but I was not keen to fit the other new hinge and have to do more filing. Have I got the wrong parts?
