can anybody help with the above dryer that is only blowing heated air on the high temp setting and cold air on the low setting

I would suspect a partial element failure – it is a double circuit element, so one circuit has probably expired.

thanks for your advice Penguin, can I get an elemement and if so where do you suggest? I have taken the back cover off and the element is partially broken.

There are two different heaters for this model. You will need the serial number, or at least the first two numbers of the serial number which is a date code. This will help us identify the correct part.

Serial number should be on a stick on label just inside the door, sometimes also on back of dryer.

If the first two numbers from the serial number are 82 or lower then it’s this one:

83 or higher and it’s this one:

Both just been added to the shop, that’s why you couldn’t find them 😀
