I’ve read the other comments re thermostats and heater elements and have checked for continuity and its fine. However, I’ve checked both thermostats and the metal on the back of both are convex.
One of the heating elements appears to be split.
    Can you please help?

    Fuzzy,
If you are sure that the heater has failed, it is p/no 1701768; email to shop@ukwhitegoods.com will soon get the prices sorted out.

    Hi

I’m not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure that it is the heater, but from the advice on this site, if the stats are both convex on the back, the problem isn’t with the stats.

What do you think? Could there be a problem with the stats even if the backs are convex, or do you think that the problem may be something else?

    Many thanks

    Fuzzy,

First of all, are you getting a live feed to the thermostats? If you are then they are the likely fault and in 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of cases they are the usual culprit 😉

If you are NOT getting a live supply to the thermostats, then the Timer or the front exhaust thermostat are at fault 😥

In any event I would advise caution when dealing with live electrics :zap: and unless you are a qualified electrician would advise calling in a local expert to be safe
