    Good Evening

    Mental block time. :eeek:

    Need to replace the front hob left ring (p/n C00228943)on this old cooker.

    The old ring has different connections to the new one.

    Can someone please tell me how to connect the new one (customer has removed the wiring from the old one).

    I suppose a wiring diagram might help.

    Looking at the plate:-

    The live from the regulator goes to the tag closest to the body of the plate. The opposite side of this terminal box (ie: straight through) is the solid connection to the element wire. The tag at the other end of the element wire is the common neutral.
    The other two tags at the top outer edge of the terminal block are the ‘Hob Hot’ light switch. Doesn’t really matter which way these are connected on as it is just a basic switch. The loom shape will guide the fitting of these.
