Creda Cooker C362ES Grill on all the time

Hi Creda Cooker C362ES. Somehow (probably came out of clips running down back) The Main Oven Stat Phial has Touched top oven grill Element Terminal, tripped cct braker. Cut the Main Oven Phial so the fluid dispersed. Replaced the main oven Stat, but now Grill Element (not the lower top oven Element, that still only comes on when setting top oven control) on all the time flat out. Getting 240 supply even when not set at Control ie in the off position. Would a new Grill Regulator fix this any one had similar thanks

ps are all the new main oven door seals for these cookers so badly made. Clips half the size bend and brake so easily and jump out of Holes

Regulator most likely culprit – p/no C00199656. Worth noting that power is looped through both the main oven selector switch and the top oven thermostat switch.

Stay safe, power off if chasing the wiring back.
