Creda Cooker Model 48243

This is a fairly basic single cavity intergrated cooker, customer reports that when using the Grill after a short period the cooker cuts out completely:

I thought at first that the cooling fan may have been the culprit, I cannot remember if the cooling fan is supposed to run when the grillfunction is used, but I find it odd that it would not ?

The cooling fan runs on the oven function but not the grill function, the three way door micro switch meters ok;

Anyone have ideas ? 🙂

Yes, it should run.

I think it’s switched by the oven selector isn’t it (grill position on switch) ? That’s where the problem is I would think.

Have you checked the overheat TOC?
