Reported fault of oven switches on when a hob ring is being used. Any ideas as to the fault? Am I looking at a faulty regulator for the oven? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Regards August 24, 2009 at 4:43 pm #295332 PhidomParticipant Re: Creda Cooker Model Collection C366E Perhaps a detached or burnt out neutral wire. Could also be a short circuit somewhere. A megger tester would be useful if you have one. August 24, 2009 at 4:47 pm #295333 BrainsParticipant Re: Creda Cooker Model Collection C366E Phidom Hmmm………. I was wondering if it was a burnt-out neutral. I do have all the required test gear – Megger, Loop tester etc. On the other-hand, if the oven control was in the ‘off’ position, can’t see how it work unless the controller had failed shorted? Any thoughts? Regards Author Posts Viewing 3 posts - 1 through 3 (of 3 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic. Log In Username: Password: Keep me signed in Log In
