Creda Cordialle fan oven stopped

Could anyone possibly tell me how to access the fuse at the back of the oven?

The Creda Cordialle oven model is 48283/4

I was told there are just two screws holding the oven in – undo those and I should be able to pull the oven out. I’ve tried the two screws at the back and top inside the oven but it still doesn’t want to move. Are there any others I need to undo?

Why put a fuse where it can’t be reached?

The oven has gone completely dead so I presume the fuse may have gone.

The digital clock has gone out as well so I don’t think it can just be the door switch can it?

There can be up to four screws through the oven cavity surrround retaining the oven in its housing. As far as I recall with these there is no internal fuse in this appliance. Being a single box oven, it may be connected to a 13amp socket. The plug should certainly be fused.

Power off when investigating.

I have checked the fuse in the plug and it was OK and nor did the circuit breaker for the oven trip in the main house box.

What else could cause the whole oven to go dead?

Terminal block burning out or catastrophic timer failure.

Either way, power off when investigating.
