    hi, the hot plate goes off intermittently, if you tap the saucepan it comes back on.
    any advice appreciated.
    red ceramics plates(1.2kw 15-1516565) with sunvic(t250/800) local stats. i thought the stats but anyone know otherwise

    Dodgy contact somewhere, Milo. Possibly loose/burnt connections at elements or regulators – if no obvious visible signs, most likely the energy regulator.

    Power off if poking about inside…..

    hi, checked connections all ok, when u say energy regulator do u mean the sunvic unit which to me looks like a thermal cutout of a sort as its fixed to side of ring and its probe is inside ring. fault is on 2 rings.
