Have just been given a CREDA Model 47917 (Intregrated Model) seems to work ok (Pumps Water around and programer moves from one program to the next ok….NEVER HAD A DISHWASHER BEFORE so this q1uestion might seem strange but it only has one fill hose ….Is this hot fill or cold fill…Also you can see the heater element but the water never seems to cover it so how does this heat the water….
How does it DRY…..because it doesnt seem first to heat up the water…Could this be a heater element problem….also doesnt seem to do any DRYING how does it suppose to dry the dishes…just basiclly ….
Has anone got a user manal for it or some pictures of the parts underneath the machine and what they do
    Many Thanks

Cold fill only – hot fill will damage the water softener unit.

The circulating water falls down onto the element in sufficient quantity to do the job.

Last rinse is a hot rinse, releasing rinse aid into the water. The drying process is performed by the residual heat from that rinse.

Yes – also, safety thermostat may have failed or wiring problems in the door at the hinge point. Possible that the timer is not switching the heater on.

Manual is NLA from Creda – it’s a fairly old machine these days.

Under the machine you will find the wash pump, drain pump, water softener unit, inlet valve, water level pressure switch and thermostats. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a piccie of the underneath 😀 .

    Power off if poking about…….
