Creda Double oven CRE6224727

Just fitted a new infer-red grill to this oven, customer rang to tell me that only half the grill lights on full power and when set to one element the other half will work so element is ok. sounds like the selector is at fault, but just checking if anyone has seen this before to confirm this

john, i’ve not changed a grill eliment before but i have had the same fault changed selector and all was well…was the infra red element definately faulty? try the selector.. best of luck

The grill is controlled by a Diamond H regulator type 33ER3HT; the usual green -backed dual circuit unit seen in loads of Creda cookers. They fail on one circuit quite often – that will be where your fault lies. 😉

Thanks guys for your advice, recalled today the new element has blown, connect is sending me out new part. will fit this then go from there, and hope this will resolve the problem.
