    Problem arose while in use, Fuse blew at main board, replaced fuse and oven worked again for about 15 minutes before cutting out again, fuse didnt blow this time but oven completely dead. Top oven and clock working fine. No power getting to main oven element.When mains switched on to oven with lower oven selected on, indicator light beside main oven selector switch lights momentarily.

    although that doent explain why the fuse blew in the first place, working now anyway, thanks

    check the bulb in the main oven the filament sometimes drops down and causes a live to nutral fault then it takes the breaker or fuse out or the themostat out
