    TCR2. Went to this on saturday and fitted new capacitor for motor and replaced toc and stat as cut out had tripped due to no motor rotation.Have just had a call from customer saying dryer is getting extremly hot and a lot of heat is coming from the front of the machine.Told cus to unplug until i get back to check it but what could this be

    you probably fixed it too well! can’t please some customers!

    I doubt theres a problem as stat would trip again.

    Its probably going to be one of those senarios where the cus has had the machine for two years and never took no notice of it but since its been fixed has sat there watching it and noticed things they hadnt before (Like, gets quite hot) :rolls:

    this is just random, but u didnt put a 7mF capacitor is the newly modified ISKRA 351 motor instead of an 8mf?

    I have been to a similar machine where the whole cabinet was getting very hot and it turned out that the rear drum seal had at some time caught fire 😯 and the hot air was blowing past it :rolls:
