    The energy regulator 40er101c1p does not control grill any more.
    Replacement ego regulator has a different set of pins and pin numbers. what goes where?

    sounds like you got the wrong part!

    If there was a modification, I’d think the manufacturers’ tech. department would advise the new connections.
