Creda Europa Solar Plus Grill

I have a Creda Europa Solar Plus oven (1 upper oven/Grill plus 1 fan assisted oven below) which is about fourteen years old.

The grill has now stopped working completely. Over a period of time it has gradually worsened – the initial symptoms: the max grill setting stopped working in so much that it would behave as if a lower setting was selected, ie. the grill would kick in for a period of time before switching off and then back on again etc. As mentioned the grill does not switch on at all now.

I have two questions. First, is it a faulty regulator causing this problem? And second, if it is the regulator – would the model 31ER7HT be a suitable replacement. The current regulator fitted is a 30ER7HT but I can’t find an exact replacement on the net .

Phil, could you post the model number of the cooker please as this may be a fault with the top oven thermostat rather than the regulator (it could be either).

Ah, that’s a special regulator in that case.

Part number 6226105 at £42.77 inc VAT and delivery. Although I would check the selector switch as well to be on the safe side (ignore the thermostat comment above for this model).
