Hi,
I’ve a Creda Europa Solar Plus (48145) oven for about 11 years. In the last month or so the main oven has become extremely hot (starts smoking, food burns quickly). It appears to me that the oven now ignores the temperature selector, you can either have off or smoking! Can I assume that the thermostat is gone and if so, is this easy to replace? (I’m fairly handy just never played with ovens before :), and are parts available?

Oven stat still available, part number 6222155, around £30.00 plus vat. An e-mail to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should sort it. Not the easiest thing to change though. If in doubt try the link below to see if we have someone who can help.
Be sure to isolate from mains if attempting yourself.
