    Hi all.
This is my first post and I was wondering if anyone can help please.
I went to my mothers yesterday and she said her oven is not working.
I opened the door and the microswitch has broken. I am just left with the long prong from the centre of the switch. I presume that the housing has fallen down inside the casing of the oven.
Could someone tell me if its just a case of isolating the oven, sliding the oven out of its housing cabinet and taking a side off, remove and then replace the switch.
Could it be that simple? I am quite handy and do fix things all the time and am not fazed by it whatsoever. I can’t find the model number on the front anywhere or inside the door so it might be on the back somewhere. Are there universal parts for this?
All I can see is that it’s a Creda Europa solar plus electric built in double oven at least 12 years old.

    Any help would be appreciated
    Regards

    YES
and in most cases you will not need to remove the complete side either
