    😥
Have gleaned from your site that it appears it is the fan element at fault given that the fan is working but the oven is not heating up!

I further note that replacement fan elements are c. £30 but the question is how easy are they to fit? If I order a spare will fitting instructions be included? If not, where is the best place to find this information as a) my diy knowledge is very limited and b) can’t afford a repair man and c) can’t face pasta again for dinner!

Any advice will be very welcome.

    Thanks

PS Only had the damn thing a couple of years – they don’t make ’em like they used to!!!

As your oven is fairly new it is likely simple enough to carry out a fan element change 🙂

Advice in this regard cannot be dwelled upon or given for certain legal reasons but any competent person with electrical knowledge and the right tools can do it in a few minutes.

If you qualify that criteria and know where to SWITCH OFF THE POWER :plug: then simply give us the Model number of the appliance and we can supply the part you need by emailing the information to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

Alternatively if you wish a local independent engineer to call by and sort it for you at modest cost?, then click this link: Repairs@

I’m afraid that the elements don’t come with fitting instructions and we are unable to post detailed instructions for you for safety reasons (i.e. anyone can read these forums and attempt a repair that we describe which may have potentially disastrous reults depending on the competence of the person involved).

In general, they’re not too bad to fit. Power off first :zap: then take the old one out. Reassemble in reverse order.

If you decide to call in a pro try Repairs@

This is what happens when you get distracted in the middle of a post.
