From 1991 onwards, the above dryers used thermostat sets comprising a control stat and a one time safety stat. When these fail, they must be replaced as a pair in the form of a kit. This article will outline the various kits and how to identify the one you may need.
1741124 – Control stat – 85c – contacts raised, positioned 9 + 3 o’clock
– Safety stat – 109c – contacts raised, positioned 12 + 6 o’clock
1701896 – Control stat – 106c – contacts flat, positioned 9 + 3 o’clock
– Safety stat – 150c – Blue spot – contacts flat, positioned 10 + 4 o’clock
1701583 – Control stat -106c – contacts flat, positioned 9 + 3 o’clock
– Safety stat – 130c – Green spot – contacts flat, positioned 9 + 3 o’clock
1701557 – Control stat – 113c – contacts flat, positioned 9 + 3 o’clock
– Safety stat – 120c – Red spot – contacts flat, positioned 9 + 3 o’clock
