creda/hpt sump filter

hi guys,
creda W220VW(similar as WMA range)

the filter was blocked , so i removed blockage and refit filter as i have a million times.But this time the sump hose keeps coming off and flooding the place.i’ve ordered a new sump hose which i believe comes with the filter as well, and i hope this cures the problem, has any one had any similar problems or am i just unlucky.

If that was the old, hard plastic sump hose then yes, it was crap and you had to line up the slots in the ball housing, if not it does not go in fully and may pull off. The new one is more conventional rubber type.
