Creda M350EWS oven haunted

I’ve a customer complaining that her Creda M350EWS comes on of its on accord during the night & will be warm in the morning, she believes that a ghost is cooking during the night! I have to prove otherwise. Anyone got awiring diagram for this model please PM me, she says that all switches are in the of position. Outer ring of grill element will be hot she has also said that the led for top oven will glow a bit when she selects main oven & switches it on. Will earth fault on element cause this problem?

The top oven thermostat apears to also control the grill on this model:

6603477 is the stat, 6201383 is the switch it fits on to.

I would be tempted to order both as they’re quite cheap 🙂

check you have a good earth to this, a failed earth and a dodgy element could leak via neutral causing all kinds of wierd faults. is it a new or old house whats the supply like? also check that the dp main switch isolates both poles I once had one leaking 50 volt when off!

OK boys i’ve had a look, both the switch & the thermostat are open circuit (top oven/grill), found quite a lot of cobwebs etc dust on back of appliance, cleaned all this off, perhaps that caused fault. Leave ir now for a while to see if poiltergeist reappears..
