A couple of months ago the 2 large rings decided to only work on full power even if the dial is set to low.
Have lived ith this but now the main oven is doing the same.
Its full blast even if set to low/slow cook.
the fan seem to be ok
Is there anything I can check out or change or is it ******d ?
I was hoping it would last until the new year when I can do a complete kitchen refit 🙁

Mod edit, this is a family forum. 😉

Re the rings, it sounds like the regulators are faulty. The oven thermostat may also be at fault now.

We would need a full model number and if possible serial number to identify and give you some idea of the costs involved.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Model number ? = The only info I have on it is “Creda Menu 350 double oven”

There are no other markings on it or in the booklets

The Creda labels are usually inside the main oven door, often down at the bottom. Sadly they do often peel off.

Without an exact model number its very difficult to identify parts.

There are 25 different models called MENU listed. 😥

If both the rings are single elements then the regulators are about £12 to £15.

The oven thermostat is considerably more, around £45 +

    Cheers matey.
think I will purchase a new oven from the cheaper end of the market to get me through to next year when I can upgrade as part of the kitchen refurb.

The oven was on permanately today when the mains power was put on and the clock reset and in manual. Even the top oven would not work until the main oven was put on
