I got CREDA MENU 350.
THE oven light stoped working. In the instruction manual this is easy:
replace the cup clockwise, then unscrew the light bulb and replace it with a new one.

Damn it folks, that CUP can`t be taken out clockwise or otherwise, dont know what to to do.
Any advice welcomed.#

Jack,

Not clear on the oven you describe as we work on manufacturers model numbers 😕 However, it is a general rule that ‘Oven Lamp Lenses’ unscrew ANTI-clockwise in the main.

First do please switch off the oven from the main switch before attempting a bulb replacement. In difficult cases as this may be the case, a little application of ‘WD40’ directed at the thread part of the lense cover will help. Leave for an hour or two, then with a slighly dampened J Cloth give it a hearty twist (Anti-clockwise don’t forget) that should do the trick 😉

Replace with the correct ‘oven lamp’, clean away any WD40 and the jobs done :tup:

…and while the lamp cover is off you can clean it by simmering in a pan of water with a little dishwasher detergent added…comes out like new!
When you put the cover back on just ‘nip’ it tight so you won’t have the problem again.

A late reply since I had to leave uk for a while.

Did it today (15-12-04) It was as you said, a bit of WD40, a wet cloth and it did the job. Thnx again guys.

I looked for days to find an instruction manual for Hoover washing/machine, and couldnt find it, then I found your page. One of you stated that there are none. Lol.
Then I thought that you really know your onions. – so i posted my question.

To conclude guys (I saw one guy ordering sumthing from you)_ if you have a light bulb for my Oven, pls send me one, since I wanna buy it from you. I need a contact number or an order form.
