Hi my mother has a Creda Oven Model 49137.

The door fails to catch I had a quick look and decided it was the roller catch that is causing the problem. I am not near the oven, but I am trying to find out if it is fairly easy to open up the door to replace the catch. It is the bottom door. Are there screws on the bottom edge? The striker pin seemed fine and that is attached to.the main oven body. I have tried looking for a video and all similar videos show the the item going into the main oven housing which is of no help to me in this case.

I must admit I never checked the hinges

door panel is held by the two screws at the bottom and a couple at the top, roller latch is part number C00235548 but THIS ONE

    Should fit perfectly as well.

to get to the two screws at the bottom does the door come off. I don’t think the oven has much flex for me to pull it out and tilt it

Taking one of the hinges off helps, usually the top hinge.
