creda oven R430ER

Hi all,
looked at this saturday customer says main oven not heating .i tried it and fan came on and got up to temp no prob.so told her to try again.she rang me and said it had stopped again but thermostat light was on so i called again and turned on but the fan did not come on for a couple of seconds but then started.i did not have the right fan motor with me so i will call again and replace the fan motor but could it be the timer/thermostat/toc?

Have you checked the door switch ?

the thermostat light stays on so i am presuming the door switch is ok?

Looking at the wiring diagram the neutral to the element & fan is fed via the door switch so think it would be worth a check

come to think of it the hinge on that side of door is not sitting properly so you are prob spot on
